Overqualified
(This is the final instalment in the farm epic.)
Presenting Miss Nora vanCalcar.
She is 4 going on 24, and there isn’t much she can’t do.
She knows all about sheep - how to feed them…
… how they walk…
… and how they lie down.
She even knows how they get in and out of a truck.
She knows how to drive a tractor…
… and how to ride a horse.
She can jump really high.
This is a close as I’ll ever get to being Philippe Halsman….
She dances beautifully…
… and she really enjoys a good pool.
As if that weren’t enough, she also has a Secret Identity:
Yes! - she is a fairy princess in disguise.
Even her parents, however, were not aware that she is also…
… an angel.
Though they did know she can be pretty durned sweet…
… if you can ever get her to hold still for half a second.
During my visit she informed me that I was her best friend because I was funny and told good jokes.
Me… proud of that? Not much.

(She’s not only an angel, she’s a Blue Angel — overqualified indeed.)
Thanks for the NoraCam (you make a great dance photographer! I especially like the over-the-shoulder shot); please tell Jennifer she does great work (ok, with a little help, probably) in so MANY ways…. (I have no doubt Nora is pretty much her favorite ‘work of art’!)

Clearly when Nora grows up she will take over the world, but she will be a force for good. There will be dancing, and picnics, and swimming — along with the farm chores. And you will be right there, telling jokes and taking pictures. It’ll be grand.
